these full-time, intensive english language courses are for international students with ielts (academic) for ukvi scores of either 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 or 6.5 and who hold an offer to study on an undergraduate or postgraduate courses with us.

if you successfully complete your relevant pre-sessional course, there is no need to retake an ielts test.

8 week course

for students with ielts 6.0 (with all sub-scores at 4.0 or higher) who have a course entry requirement of ielts 6.5.

10 week course

for students with scores of ielts 6.5 (with 4.0 in all sub-scores) who have a course entry requirement of ielts 7.0.

12 week course

for students with ielts 5.5 who have a score of 5.0 in writing (and all other sub-scores at 4.0 or higher) and have a course entry requirement of ielts 6.5.

20 week course

this summer 2021 course is for students with ielts (academic) for ukvi 5.0 overall who have a score of 4.5 in writing and speaking (and all other sub-scores at 4.0 or higher) and have a course entry requirement of ielts 6.5.
