Through my own extensive research and while dealing with back pain on my own, I have tried just about every treatment under the sun. I was at first reluctant to even consider acupuncture for several reasons, one of which was the thought of the getting pricked by needles. However, when no other treatment worked, I looked into acupuncture and quickly discovered that it has advanced in its usage over the years and is now considered one of the best alternatives to common medicine used for back pain.

While it was a relief to read that the needles are painless, to me, one of the most interesting aspects of this treatment is that needles are not the only option. I’ve never been a fan of needles, no matter how fine they may be, and I was glad to find out that there are acupuncture treatments that can be done without using needles.

The Lakeland Spine Center is one of these facilities that can do needle acupuncture and non-needle acupuncture.
