What Causes Migraines?

Migraines are more than just severe headaches, they also include a number of other symptoms including vision and hearing problems, loss of sense of smell and nausea and vomiting, and can be very debilitating while they last (anywhere between 2 to 72 hours).

The exact cause of migraines are not yet known, although research has linked them to disturbances in blood circulation in the brain, but a number of factors can trigger them including tiredness, stress, anxiety, alcohol, medication (such as contraceptive pill) and some foods.[.....]
